You know, I really should get on here more than once a year. Even twice a year would be good. Or three times. Oh well. I'm here now, and YAY for that!

I am LOVING my designing these days, and doing most of my selling on my Facebook page! Why don't you head on over and 'like' me? I just hit 500 fans last night, and I've got quite the party in the works to celebrate. There will be games, surprises, and of course, goodie bags.

No cake though. Sorry.

I ate it all.

So I'm going to try to keep up with this blogging thing this year. Before another year goes by, and I post another picture of my kids starting off the school year. Yup. Here they are. One year older. I am now officially a Mommy to a 1st grader. Am I old enough to have a 6 year old? Yikes! And my little man? He's 4! He goes to school 3 days a week this year. And now I have even MORE time to sew! :-D

I have taken some much-needed time off from the whole boutique world, and am finally getting myself back into the swing of things!

I will be participating in my first launch since October beginning this week! On March 17th, Hope for God's Children will launch It's a Girl's World to benefit 4 year old Kayleigh Justice. Kayleigh has Neuroblastoma, and her mom is struggling to make ends meet. 100% of the proceeds from this launch on both EBay and Etsy will benefit this family!

I have 4 listings planned for this launch, and they will be spread out over the course of the 2-week fundraiser!

So, starting on March 17 (yes, Happy St. Patrick's Day!), don't forget to head over to EBay or Etsy and search "HGC Kayleigh" to find some adorable listings!!!

To the world of blogging!

Wow! Has it really been a whole year?! It's certainly been an eventful one around here for sure!

My oldest (my daughter, Amelya) started Kindergarten a month ago! Yes, I cried.

So did she. The bus forgot her. Drove right by. ZOOOOM!!! Poor girl! What a way to start Kindergarten! It's okay though, she was fine once Mommy & Daddy drove her to school and she saw her teacher!

My little guy, Benjamin, is in preschool 2 days a week as well.

Nice face, huh? Even at 3 years old, he's too cool to pause for a moment so Mommy can play papparazzi. They learn too early.

That means that I get a whole hour and a half all to myself twice a week!

Do you feel bad for me? Don't. I find things to do with my time. Laundry. Picking up Princess shoes and Duplos. Making beds. Stepping on crayons and grinding them into carpet.

Okay. Well maybe you should feel a little bad for me.

I also have more time to SEW! That makes me happy! A happy Mommy makes for happy kids. When they've had a nap. And when Mommy's had a nap.

So I'm back in full-swing, and loving every minute of it! I'm also part of a wonderful group on both EBay and Etsy called "Hope for God's Children". Did you see that? If you click on those gray words, it will take you right to the website! Fancy, huh? Aren't you impressed?

Anyway. We launch every other month to raise money for a child who has cancer. We have had 6 beneficiaries so far, and it's a humbling experience to get to know these families! All proceeds from every listing on both sites go directly to the families. The designers keep nothing, except the knowledge in our heads and hearts that we have done a little bit to make a hard life more manageable.

So head over to EBay or Etsy and search "HGC Matthews" to find our current listings to help the Matthews family pay down a few of the mounting medical bills from their two sons.

Thank you for being one of their angels! These boys need as many as they can get!

MudPie's Debut Launch and Thanksgiving!

I just listed two adorable sets for the debut launch of MudPie Boytique!!! I'm venturing out into the world of BOYS! I figured my little man would appreciate that, so he doesn't have to wear his sister's dresses!

Wow! I can't belive I've let all summer go by without updating my blog! It's been a busy one, I've had something listed almost every week, and I'm finally getting a rhythm going to my business here.

I'm having fun in MemoryLane (but keep your eyes peeled for some changes coming soon! Hint: start looking for CherryLane!). I'm honored to have been invited to join the talented ladies of WisteriaLane for their Duets guest launch. I teamed up with my good friend and fellow designer Julie, of Magical*Hope*Boutique, and together we created two of the cutest sets you'll ever see!!! Both are listed right now, search "WisteriaLane Duet" to find them along with so many more amazing designs!

I've got about 4 more launches coming this month, and I'll be busy creating some detailed and fun Christmas sets as well!

Fairy Day and Resell Spotted!

Today is Fairy Day!! In honor of this magical day, Boutique MemoryLane is having a Fairy mini-launch! I have two listings up for this launch, both OOAK's. The Fairy Feliz dress is so sweet, made from amazing Euro fabrics and with tons of ruffles down the back. The dress is complete with fairy flutter wings on the straps!!!

I also have my first (of many, I hope!) charm bracelet listed! It features a variety of pink, silver, and clear beads and crystals, along with some very special charms, including a pewter fairy, and a silver tag with the word "Believe" stamped on it! So whimsical!

AND!!! I have just been informed that one of my buyers has a resell of mine listed right now!!! Go check it out!

BUSY Times!

Wow!!! I've been so busy, I haven't even had time to update here! I've recently been accepted as a new member of the established boutique design group "MemoryLane". I am honored to be amongst some of EBay's finest designers, and back in a group with one of my favorite bow girls of all time- Sarah, of beccas*bows. Also in this group, my great friend and fellow clothing designer- Julie, of Magical*Hope*Boutique!!! Needless to say, I think this group is great fit!

I do want to thank the girls of JackaLulu, however, for having me there! I had a great time, and made some amazing friends whom I'm sure I'll keep in touch with!

I recently spent a few afternoons cleaning out my daughter's closet, and as a result of that, I currently have 17 resells (both from myself and other designers) listed, along with one white pettiskirt that's too small for Amelya! Check them out, they're all at amazingly low prices!

Wow! April was such a busy month, I feel like I rarely had time to come in and update my fans!

On top of 5 launches with a grand total of over 20 listings, I also had my baby boy's 2nd birthday and a cruise to the Bahamas with friend and fellow designer, Julie, of Magical*Hope*Boutique.

I'm recovering nicely (except for that famous 'lobster syndrome'), and finally getting back into the swing of daily life at home.

Our JackaLulu "Gettin' Buggy" launch just finished up, and we had some amazing designs listed! If you missed them, keep checking back, as some of us will be listing them again!

I just listed a Sample Set (available as a custom if requested) for the VendeMia "Circus" launch. Despite my irrational dislike of clowns, I decided that a pink polka dot one couldn't possibly be too scary! Check him out, he turned out really sweet. March was such a busy month, and April is following close in March's footsteps!!! At one point in March, I believe I had 11 listings up at once! Crazy! I made quite a few sales, and even had a few custom orders!

April is looking to be just as crazy, and I mailed off the last of my 4 swap sets to a model this morning! Our design group, JackaLulu, is looking forward to another (hopefully) successful launch! Our debut launch was wonderful! Thank you to everone who placed bids, and we hope our winners truly enjoy their custom items!

The next JackaLulu launch theme is "Gettin' Buggy With It". If it's a bug, you'll see it, starting on April 16th! Just search JackaLulu and you'll find some of the most original designs in the boutique world!

I am also getting ready for 3 other launches in the month of April. Our VendeMia launch group is doing a Circus theme this month, so fun! Peppermint Lane's "Enchanted Summer" launch begins on April 21st, just search PPLN and you'll find all of our amazingly enchanting designs there! And last but not least, Boutique VIP's Annual Playground Couture launch starts on April 30th! Just search BVIP to find some fun, wearable, designs to make your child the hit of the playground!

Also this month, we celebrate my baby boy's 2nd birthday on April 21st. He's having a Sesame Street party, and he can't wait to eat that Elmo cake!!! The following weekend, hubby & I will be leaving the kids with their grandparents, and meeting fellow designer Julie (Magical*Hope*Boutique) and her hubby in Miami, where we board a Norwegian Cruise ship. Our destination? The Bahamas of course! We're all looking forward to a few days in the sun wtihout the kids, but I'm sure we'll be glad to get back home to them too!
